Experience                                                        

Not only do I have the experience in sales, prior to my Real Estate Career I was a Legal Assistant for over 13 years.  A majority of my experience involved civil litigation in contract law and construction liens.  This invaluable experience lends to drafting and reviewing contracts between Sellers and Buyers with foresight as to potential problems or ambiguous clauses.  As a wise man once told me, “SURPRISES ARE FOR BIRTHDAYS, NOT REAL-ESTATE”. 

In addition, I have also been a Mortgage Specialist with the Royal Bank of Canada.  During our discussions I am able to show you different ways a home may be purchased without putting you at future financial risk.

Well Connected                                                            

I was born and raised in Orillia and have lived outside Orillia in our rural communities.  It truly is a great place to live and work.  Due to the vast experience I have gained in other employment fields, I have many friends and colleagues in the banking industry, legal field, tax issues and construction.  When issues arise I do not render guesses, I seek the advice of professionals I know and trust who are learned in their individual areas of expertise.

This seems like an obvious statement but it should be known that I do not seek Agreements of Purchase and Sales which benefit my commission but rather benefits you.    My clients are referrals and it is more important to me that my business be referred than to “line my pockets” in the here and now. 

Marketing and Market Share                           

Having said the above, in order to market your home for sale, in addition to the regular local Real Estate Guide, I hold open houses, put your home on the Multiple Listing Service and on Board systems to which your home is best marketed.  I am not afraid to spend money on marketing to get maximum exposure.  I hold Agent Luncheons, have virtual tours and use the internet.  At Re/max we have weekly meetings to discuss our listings and our representatives will come through your home during our office tour.
